The Bureau of Waterworks has been implementing the Waterworks Supporter System since fiscal year 2021, which aims to deepen customers’ understanding of the waterworks business through direct dialogue between officials and customers, and to reflect the opinions and suggestions received in the waterworks business.
The Waterworks Supporter System holds social gatherings to explain the Waterworks Bureau’s initiatives and exchange opinions. To date, these have been held in 39 wards, cities, and towns in Tokyo, and in fiscal year 2025, they will continue to be held in 10 wards, cities, and towns, with the theme of “earthquake disaster prevention,” which is of great interest to customers. This time, we are looking for participants for a social gathering in two wards and cities in September. Participants will receive original goods as a gift, so please apply.

Contents of the Waterworks Supporters Earthquake Disaster Countermeasures Exchange Meeting

Date and time etc.

• We will hold a local (face-to-face) networking event.
• The content of the explanations will be tailored to each ward or city. Wards and cities will also be providing explanations about their earthquake disaster prevention efforts.
• In addition to an explanation of the initiative in the conference room, participants will also have the opportunity to try out emergency water supply and carrying a water bag on their backs.

• Those who attend the social gathering will be registered as water supply supporters.
