Any business, whether it be a company, school, facility attracting customers, or restaurant, needs to take disaster prevention measures to protect employees and customers in the event of a disaster. The person who promotes disaster prevention measures within such business is the “Business Disaster Prevention Leader”.

In order to promote the registration of business disaster prevention leaders and their use in companies, Tokyo has established the “Business Disaster Prevention Leader Excellent Company Certification System” for companies that are actively working to utilize business disaster prevention leaders as a unique system of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for the first time this year, and has been recruiting eligible companies.

We are pleased to announce that we have decided to certify four companies as “Business Disaster Prevention Leader Excellent Companies”. A certification ceremony will be held in the future, and the excellent companies will be presented with a certificate and a prize.

The award ceremony will be held after the training review.
