Ship operation begins on Gotanda-Tennozu route
Tokyo is working to establish water transportation as a familiar means of tourism and transportation, and to create a lively waterfront. As part of this initiative, a subsidy system was established in fiscal year 2023 to promote the implementation of boat commuting, and the “Gotanda – Tennozu” route will be the third route to utilize this system.
*Under this system, the “Nihonbashi – Toyosu” route has been in operation since October 2023, and the “Harumi – Hinode” route since May 2024.
