Submitted Nippori-Toneri Liner implementation plan
Earthquake
Regarding the Nippori-Toneri Liner derailment accident that occurred on October 7, 2021, as a result of an earthquake with a maximum seismic intensity of 5+ that originated in northwestern Chiba Prefecture, the authorities received a recommendation from the Japan Transport Safety Board on February 16, 2023. We would like to announce that we have compiled our response to the recommendation and submitted the “Implementation Plan for Measures to be Taken” to the Japan Transport Safety Board on May 27, 2025, as attached (PDF: 698KB).
