Next-generation renewable energy social technology implementation promotion project operator selection

Power and Communications

In order to achieve zero emissions by 2050, Tokyo has set a new goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by more than 60% by 2035 compared to 2000 levels, with an eye toward the 2030 Carbon Half target and beyond, and is working to expand the introduction of renewable energy.
We are pleased to announce that we have decided to select two projects from the four that applied, after publicly soliciting applications from businesses that are pioneering the social implementation of next-generation renewable energy power generation technologies.

1 Business overview

We will support demonstration projects in Tokyo with the aim of quickly implementing next-generation renewable energy power generation technologies in society.
Specifically, we will support efforts aimed at resolving issues in social implementation, such as efforts to improve power generation efficiency, mass production technology, and performance such as durability.

2 Selection results

The applications were reviewed based on the level of understanding of the business, business content, and future potential, and two projects were selected.
