Tocho Electric Power Plan – Recruiting Post-FIT Electric Power Supply Homes
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government aims to achieve 100% renewable energy for the electricity used in its facilities in order to achieve “Zero Emission Tokyo,” which will contribute to achieving virtually zero CO2 emissions, by 2050.
For this reason, we have implemented the “Tocho Electric Power Plan,” which uses 100% renewable energy [Note 2], including post-FIT electricity generated by solar power generation systems in Tokyo homes [Note 1], at some of our facilities. In addition, we also use electricity (excluding self-consumption) from solar power generation facilities installed at our facilities.
[Note 1] Post-FIT electricity
Electricity for which the fixed price purchase period (10 years for residential solar power generation) has ended (purchase periods will end sequentially from November 2019 onwards)
[Note 2] Renewable energy
Energy sources that do not emit CO2, such as solar, wind, geothermal, small and medium-sized hydroelectric power, and biomass
