Landslide prevention painting and essay won the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s Grand Prize and Excellence Prize
As part of the Landslide Prevention Month event held every June, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and each prefecture solicits paintings and essays on landslide prevention from elementary and junior high school students. This year, Tokyo received a total of 66 paintings and essays.
Among the works, paintings and essays that won the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Construction Director’s Award were recommended for a central review conducted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and the following works were awarded the Grand Prize (Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award) and the Excellence Prize (Vice-Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award).
