Holding an evacuation goods exhibition and recruiting businesses
Tokyo Metropolitan Government is pleased to announce that it will be holding an evacuation goods exhibition and will be soliciting exhibitors at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Hamura City, and Hinode Town Joint Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill (hereinafter referred to as the “Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill”), which is scheduled to be held jointly with Hamura City and Hinode Town on Sunday, August 31.
1 Purpose of the evacuation goods exhibition
Tokyo is taking steps to improve the comfort of life in evacuation shelters, taking into account lessons learned from past disasters. For this reason, through this comprehensive disaster prevention drill, we will be exhibiting evacuation supplies such as portable toilets and beds, as well as disaster preparedness foods [Note], in order to promote understanding of evacuation among Tokyo residents and strengthen disaster preparedness.
[Note] This is for introduction purposes only and there will be no exhibits or sales on the day.
