The Construction Bureau has formulated a disaster prevention boat landing development plan and has been working to develop disaster prevention boat landings so that they can serve as bases for river boat transport to function effectively as emergency routes, travel routes, and material transportation routes in the event of a disaster.
In recent years, there has been a demand to respond to climate change and to improve the disaster prevention wharf itself and expand new ancillary facilities in order to ensure its functionality in the event of a disaster. In light of these current circumstances, we have revised our disaster prevention wharf improvement plan.

1　Disaster Prevention Wharf Development Plan (revised version) Major changes

Eight new disaster prevention wharves have been added in consideration of the ward’s plans.

The layout plan will be updated based on the current status of disaster prevention wharf development and the development plan for disaster prevention wharfs to be developed based on the ward’s plan.

Added a section on points to note when developing disaster prevention wharves.

Added “Structural type of disaster prevention wharf facilities” and “Response to climate change risks”

Added an item on facilities attached to the disaster prevention wharf.

Added “Remote monitoring facility” and “Disaster prevention wharf display facility for ships”
