About Rivers and the Weather

Using his unique method that combines “laughter” and “weather” through kamishibai storytelling, Kubotenki teaches children about disaster preparedness and weather in a fun and engaging way!

  • Answer the questions in the River Quiz Corner and win a prize!
  • We have simple craft activities available.
    This program is suitable even for young children.
  • River Panel and Video Exhibition Area

Mr. Ranma’s Water Science Show

Mr. Ranma will use fun experiments to explain the importance of water and the SDGs in an easy-to-understand way!

If the number of applicants exceeds the available spots, a lottery will be held (regardless of whether a lottery is held, results are expected to be announced approximately 10 days after the application deadline).

Childcare Services

On the day of the symposium (from 1:00 PM until the event concludes), we will provide childcare for children aged 6 months or older who are not yet in school. If you would like to use this service, please indicate your request for childcare and the number of children when you apply.
