Call for Comments on the Draft “Tokyo Port Overhead Power Line Removal Plan (FY 2026–FY 2030)”

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government plans to revise the “Tokyo Undergrounding Plan” in accordance with the Tokyo Undergrounding Promotion Ordinance. In conjunction with this, we have compiled a draft of the “Tokyo Port Undergrounding Plan (FY2026–FY2030),” which outlines the five-year implementation strategy for the Tokyo Port area, and we are now soliciting comments from residents.
We will revise the plan based on the feedback received from residents.

3. Application Period and Submission Method

  • Application period: Friday,
    May 15, 2026, through Sunday, June 14, 2026

    • Please submit your application using the designated form or by mail (postmarked no later than June 14).
