In the construction and transportation industries, restrictions on overtime work will come into effect in April 2024, and the so-called “2024 problem” has created a labor shortage. To help secure human resources for the construction and transportation industries, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will hold a “Construction and Transportation Industry Job Fair,” an event that will include joint job interviews and seminars.

Approximately 50 companies (25 companies per date (planned))

Planned Program

• Company information sessions and interviews at participating companies’ booths (no document screening)
• Talk show featuring celebrities on themes related to the construction and transportation industry. Matsumura Sayuri will appear on Tuesday, July 23rd, and Suzuki Airi will appear on Wednesday, July 24th!

Pre-seminar (online)

• Individual consultations on employment and career changes with career counselors
• We also have a variety of other content available, such as panel exhibits introducing the appeal of working in the industry and seminars on interview preparation.

For Job Seekers

“Workstyles have evolved! The construction and transportation industries” (scheduled to begin distribution on June 24th)
