Tokyo Metropolitan Government is taking comprehensive flood control measures, including the prevention of stormwater runoff, in addition to the development of rivers and sewerage systems, to deal with urban flooding caused by urbanization.
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding an information exchange event as detailed below, where the “Rainwater Seepage Ambassadors,” who work with Tokyo Metropolitan Government to raise awareness, can interact with each other and the ambassadors can promote heavy rain countermeasures to the general public, with the aim of encouraging proactive efforts and disseminating information by businesses and Tokyo residents in the future.
