We would like to inform you that we have revised the “Tokyo Metropolitan Flood Control Plan” based on the recommendations made at the Tokyo Metropolitan Flood Control Council meeting (held on April 9, 2026).

• 1　The “Tokyo Metropolitan Flood Control Plan” is a plan formulated in accordance with Article 7 of the Flood Control Act in order to coordinate and ensure the smooth implementation of flood control operations.
• 2　The main revisions are as follows (a summary is attached (PDF: 577KB)).
  • Revision of flood control plans in conjunction with the implementation of new disaster prevention weather information systems.
  • Operation of designated river flood forecasting for the Zenpukuji River
  • Updates to areas requiring attention from a flood control perspective for fiscal year 2026.
